COLUMBUS, OH—The Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE) Board of Trustees is thrilled to announce the selection of Stephanie Auditore as the association’s next chief executive officer. Auditore will officially assume the role on June 10, 2019, following the retirement of William Waidelich, Ed.D., who served the association for the last eight years.
“After a thorough search, the board welcomes Stephanie Auditore to lead and shape the future of the organization,” said Board Chair Christine Thielen. “Stephanie brings extensive experience in leadership roles driving collaboration and innovation. We look forward to working with her to take the association to the next level.”
A seasoned professional association leader with a proven track record of growing membership and revenue at large, national associations, Auditore is passionate about building engaged communities of members. She recently led a team at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) charged with designing the member experience throughout their career span. Prior to the ACC, Auditore led the membership department at the American Psychiatric Association where she implemented new membership programs and created long-term industry partnerships that grew the association to a 14-year membership high. Auditore began her associations career at the American Medical Association after earning a J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and a B.A. in International Studies and Information Technology, cum laude, from DePaul University.
“I am delighted to join AMLE and honored to have the opportunity to lead this organization of talented and dedicated members,” Auditore said. “I look forward to exploring new ways to support our members as they take on the enormous task of cultivating students during such a pivotal time. I am proud to be championing an organization dedicated to these invaluable professionals.”
