What if…

A conference allowed you to choose your own adventure of professional learning on the topics that matter to you in the format that you like best? #AMLE21 is stacked with content offered in formats aligned with adult e-learning best practice.

  • The Exploration Station: Prefer to stay put in one virtual space? The main conference room will remain open throughout the event and include the keynote addresses, featured speaker presentations, virtual school visits, student performances, and more!
  • Conference Track Rooms: Head to the breakout sessions to explore in more depth middle level education topics of interest to you. We’re combatting Zoom fatigue by working with our presenters to ensure sessions are responsive to attendee needs, engaging, interactive, and concise.
  • Express Talks: Want to be inspired by great ideas happening at schools around the world? During Express Talk time, you’ll be able to view a wide variety of topics through 10-minute pre-recorded sessions and interact with the presenters along the way.
  • Design Time: Have you ever attended a conference and been so overwhelmed by new ideas you don’t know where to start? Head to the Design Room, where you can engage with colleagues and AMLE coaches on emerging topics from the conference.
  • The Successful Middle School Book Study: Want to dig into AMLE’s foundational position paper on best practice in the middle grades? Hop into the book study sessions to explore the text with your colleagues, and earn the Successful Middle School ready badge at the end.

Earning a badge is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Complete a pre-assessment before the conference (a pre-assessment is required for each badge)
  2. Attend at least 10 hours of content tagged to your selected badge (a session evaluation is required to verify hours of attendance). These hours can be completed by viewing recorded content after the conference before the platform window ends on December 17th.
  3. Complete a post-assessment by December 17th.

Badges will be awarded by January 7th once completions have been verified. AMLE has teamed up with Credly’s credentialing service, meaning your badges can be easily verified by prospective employers and shared on your social media profiles and LinkedIn. You’ll also receive a contact hours certificate from AMLE and badge image to include on your resume and signature block.
