At Willard Middle School, an eighth-grade science teacher has moved to using the prompt, “Ask Me Two Questions” instead of simply “Does anyone have any questions?”. This simple change of phrase has worked to encourage interactions and connections, fostered an inclusive and collaborative environment, and created a more supportive classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions.
