9×9: Building YAs’ Math Identity One Digit at a Time Through Variant Sukodu Puzzles
Presenter: Nicole Bannister
There is a monumental interest drop in math in the middle grades. Our team of puzzle setters, YA learning experts, and university researchers aim to nurture YAs’ math identities through joyful engagement in new variant sudoku puzzles. Our puzzles support broad accessibility to math reasoning skills via scaffolded puzzle challenges. In this highly interactive session, participants will have ample time to puzzle, discuss solution paths, and offer collaborative feedback.
