Adolescent chapter books, featuring characters with disabilities, will be highlighted as resources for classroom reading, discussion, and knowledge development around themes of inclusivity and acceptance of others. Watch and learn about new and noteworthy chapter books with authentic perspectives students can relate to and grow from. This session will give you useful tools to support middle grade students in the development of empathy for others.
